8 Ceremonies on Saturdays (16:00-18:00 CET), first three on 19/9, 31/10 and 19/12
Many cultures recognise 8 seasonal festivals, based on the solar calendar and the rhythms of planting and harvest. Four are clearly marked by the solar calendar: midwinter, midsummer, and the spring and autumn equinox. The other four mark transitions between them.
These dance events provide a great opportunity to consciously connect with the cycles of nature and reflect on our lives. Following the pulse of birth, growth, decay, death and rebirth, we ask ourselves which things would we like to plant, harvest, give thanks for, or let go of, depending on the time of the year.
These ceremonies offer a dynamic, contemporary meditation in which we awaken the dancer inside, and explore the wide range of possibilities of movement within us. Ceremonies are open to all, whomever and wherever you are. Language is English, no previous dance experience required.
At the moment they are offered online, so all you have to do is save the dates, and sign up by dropping me an email on email@example.com. I will then email you further details. After receiving your payment I will send you a Zoom link for the ceremony, and an invitation for the Wheel of the Year Facebook Closed Group, to stay tuned and share your experience of the cycles with other participants.
Times and Dates:
The ceremonies will always take place on Saturdays, 16:00-18:00 CET (which makes it possible for people to join from India, London, Rio, New York, San Fransisco and Vancouver!)
Dates for the next three ceremonies:
- 19 September: Fruition and Balance (Mabon, September Equinox)
- 31 October: Communication with the Otherworld 9Samhain. Halloween, All Saints)
- 19 December: Return of the Sun (Yule, Midwinter, Christmas)
I will record the session so if you can’t make these times, it will be available for a week after the ceremony.
- €15 per ceremony
- €37.50 if you pay for three until Christmas (which is €12.50 per ceremony)
- €80 if you sign up for all 8 (which is €10 per ceremony). Because not all the future dates are available yet, you will be allowed to carry one over to the next cycle of the Wheel in 2021-2022.
If you invite family or friends to join you in your space, a donation from your guests would be very much appreciated.
